1. Versailles

How to get there: Take the RER C train to Versailles and walk about five minutes to the palace.

How to get there: From Gare de l’Est, take the TGV to Reims.
4. Chantilly
One of the most magical cheateaux in France, Chantilly is a must-visit destination located just half an hour from Paris by train. You can tour the chateau itself along with the gardens. Don’t forget to stop in the village for some of the famous Chantilly whipped cream!
How to get there: Take the TER Picardie train from Gare du Nord to Chantilly, then walk about 15 minutes to reach the chateau.
